* T-Series is a popular Indian music label and film production
company. It was founded by Gulshan Kumar in 1983 and after his death in 1997,
his son Bhushan Kumar took over the company. T-Series has a vast collection of
music from various languages including Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali,
Gujarati and Marathi. T-Series has also expanded its business into film
production and distribution, as well as television production.
* In addition
to its offline activities, T-Series started its YouTube channel in 2006 and has
since become the most subscribed YouTube channel in the world, with over 194
million subscribers as of my knowledge cutoff date. The channel primarily
features Bollywood music, movie trailers, and other content related to Indian
entertainment.
* T-Series has
also collaborated with several popular international artists, including Ed
Sheeran, DJ Snake, and Pitbull, among others. T-Series has received numerous
awards for its contributions to the Indian music and film industry, including
the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment
in 2017.
